Acceptable Use Policy

These rules keep KingsNode safe, stable and lawful for everyone. They apply to all services and everyone who uses your account.

Last updated: 24 August 2026

1. Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to all use of KingsNode services and forms part of our Terms of Service. You are responsible for ensuring anyone who uses your servers or account complies with it.

2. No illegal or harmful content

You must not use the services to store, host, transmit, or link to:

  • content that is illegal in the jurisdictions relevant to you or us;
  • child sexual abuse material, or any content that exploits or endangers minors — we report such material to the relevant authorities;
  • content that harasses, threatens, or incites violence or hatred against others;
  • fraudulent, deceptive, or phishing content, or malware and its distribution.

3. No attacks or network abuse

You must not use the services to originate or facilitate:

  • denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks, packet floods, amplification, or any traffic intended to disrupt another system;
  • port scanning, intrusion attempts, credential stuffing, or unauthorised access to any network or account;
  • botnets, command-and-control infrastructure, or coordinated abuse;
  • spam or unsolicited bulk messaging, and mass unsolicited connections to third-party services.

Outbound attacks are grounds for immediate suspensionwithout notice.

4. No piracy, cheats, or IP infringement

  • Do not host or distribute pirated games, cracked software, unlicensed server binaries, or any content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property rights.
  • Do not distribute cheats, aimbots, hacks, exploit kits, or tools designed to circumvent game anti-cheat or licensing.
  • Ensure you hold the necessary licences for any game server, mod, or plugin you run.

5. Resource abuse and fair use

Plans provide dedicated resources for game-server workloads. You must not:

  • run workloads unrelated to your game server that place sustained, excessive load on shared infrastructure — for example crypto-mining, general compute farms, mass proxying/VPN exit nodes, or public file-sharing;
  • attempt to escape container or resource limits, or interfere with other customers’ services;
  • deliberately consume disproportionate CPU, memory, disk I/O, or network capacity in a way that degrades the platform for others.

Where usage threatens platform stability, we may throttle, suspend, or ask you to move to a more suitable plan.

6. Security

  • Keep your game server, mods, and plugins reasonably up to date.
  • Do not knowingly run software with known critical vulnerabilities that could endanger the platform.
  • Report any vulnerability you discover in our services to [email protected] rather than exploiting it.

7. DMCA and copyright complaints

We respond to valid copyright complaints. To report allegedly infringing material hosted on our services, email [email protected] with the subject line “DMCA / Copyright” and include:

  • identification of the copyrighted work and the allegedly infringing material (with URLs or server identifiers);
  • your contact details;
  • a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised;
  • a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorised to act on behalf of the rights holder;
  • your physical or electronic signature.

[Placeholder: if you designate a formal DMCA agent, list the agent’s name and address here.]

8. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may remove content, throttle, suspend, or terminate services, with or without notice depending on severity. Serious violations — such as illegal content or outbound attacks — may result in immediate termination without refund and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.

9. Reporting abuse

To report abuse of our services, contact [email protected].
